Aston Villa target Zion Suzuki is the subject of firm interest from Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
Fabrizio Romano says both clubs have different plans for the Parma goalkeeper, while his future remains linked to Emiliano Martínez.
TEAMtalk reports that Juventus have submitted an offer to Parma. However, the Serie A clubs have not reached an agreement because the proposal falls below Parma’s valuation.
Juventus would make Suzuki their first-choice goalkeeper if they fail to sign Martínez. The Argentina international remains their leading target despite Aston Villa’s public insistence that they do not intend to sell him.
PSG are also considering an offer for Suzuki. However, the French champions could send the Japan international on loan unless they find a buyer for Lucas Chevalier.

Juventus can offer Suzuki an immediate starting position, while PSG are presenting a longer-term project. The 23-year-old must now decide which pathway offers the best opportunity for his development.
Villa have monitored Suzuki as a potential replacement for Martínez. The 6ft 3in goalkeeper impressed for Japan at the World Cup after establishing himself in Serie A with Parma.
However, Unai Emery’s side may not require a new number one unless Martínez leaves. Juventus’ pursuit of both goalkeepers therefore places Villa at the centre of the situation.
ReadAstonVilla recently reported that Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti remains interested in Martínez. Villa reportedly want between €10million and €15million, while Juventus hope to complete a considerably cheaper deal.
If Villa retain Martínez, Suzuki may prefer Juventus or PSG rather than wait for another opening. If Juventus secure Martínez, Suzuki could instead become available to Villa.
Parma are expected to resolve the goalkeeper’s future soon. Aston Villa must therefore decide whether to advance their interest or continue planning with Martínez as Emery’s first choice.
