Villa fans admit that Samatta needs better service to thrive

Many Aston Villa fans are desperate to see January arrival Mbwana Samatta get some better service from his teammates.

The Tanzanian international joined in the January transfer window from KRC Genk and has scored one goal in the Premier League, netting in the 2-1 defeat against AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Samatta has looked good in recent matches but has also been pretty isolated in attack, especially against Southampton last Saturday, having just 20 touches of the ball in the entire game (WhoScored).

A lot of Villa fans are happy with the signing and believe that he is a very good player, however, they also admit that without the adequate service, he won’t be able to provide the goals that the team needs to avoid relegation this season.

Samatta was unlucky not to score against Tottenham as Toby Alderweireld deflected the ball into his own net with the striker ready to pounce, but crosses like that from Anwar El Ghazi and co is what the forward needs.

These fans took to Twitter to make it clear that they want the striker to get better service from teammates.
