Paul Mitchell jailed for 14 weeks after Grealish assault

Paul Mitchell, the man who assaulted Jack Grealish on Sunday, has been given a 14-week prison sentence.

The Birmingham City fan ran onto the pitch in the first-half of Aston Villa clash with the Blues on Sunday and punched Grealish in the side of his face, causing the midfielder to fall to the ground.

He was subsequently brought down by stewards and arrested, and has now been charged.

Mitchell has been given a 14-week prison sentence and banned from attending any football match for 10 years, as well as having to pay Jack Grealish £100 in compensation for the attack.
