Grealish lauds best day of his life after scoring derby winner

Jack Grealish has labelled today as the best day of his life after scoring the winner against Birmingham.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Grealish said that it is what dreams are made of – captaining Villa and scoring the winner in the derby.

Grealish was involved in an a shocking altercation in the first-half, as a Birmingham fan invaded the pitch and threw a punch into the side of Grealish’s face.

Despite the assault, Grealish did well to not react and went on to score a superb goal to win the game.

The midfielder picked the ball up on the edge of the box and created space for himself to send a low drive into the bottom corner beyond Lee Camp.
