Aston Villa’s promotion push could be dealt a major blow with the news that Chelsea may sell Tammy Abraham permanently in January.
The Daily Mail claim that the 21-year-old’s loan spell at Villa Park could be cut short, in order to let him move to another club this month.
As many as four Premier League outfits are reportedly interested in signing Abraham, with Wolves, Huddersfield, Burnley and Crystal Palace the quartet in question.
The youngster has arguably been Villa’s key man so far this season, leading the line impressively.

He has 14 goals to his name in just 19 appearances, spearheading Dean Smith’s side’s promotion challenge in the process.
Villa are ninth in the Championship and five points adrift of the play-off places, so losing Abraham would be a potential body blow.
Chelsea’s decision to bring him back is understandable, however, with the Blues likely to receive a hefty fee for the striker.
Smith will hope that the loan can still remain in tact up until the summer, but that doesn’t look likely at the moment.
