Villa reportedly keen on Lolley

Aston Villa could be ready to continue their summer business, with reports suggesting that they are interested in Huddersfield man Joe Lolley.

It’s claimed by the Daily Mail today that Steve Bruce is contemplating a loan move for the wide man as he looks to strengthen his attacking options.

Villa drew 1-1 with Hull today and despite making a good start to the 2017/18 campaign, Bruce will be keen to build upon his side’s positive start with wins. This could mean that Villa have unfinished business in the market this summer.

24-year-old Lolley is wanted by a host of Championship clubs but according to the Mail, Villa may have the upper hand in the race to sign him. It’s stated that he supported the club as a boy, and would be tempted by a move to his childhood side.

Although David Wagner is reportedly keen to keep hold of Lolley ahead of next season, he acknowledges that the winger is keen to play first-team football on a regular basis.
