Bruce and Elmohamady to reunite?

Aston Villa manager Steve Bruce is weighing up a possible move for Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohamady, according to the Birmingham Mail.

The Egyptian still has two years left on his current deal at Hull, however, £2.5 million could be enough to persuade Hull to allow Elmohamdy to leave for Villa and reunite with his former boss.

Bruce knows the 29-year-old well from his time in charge at the KCOM Stadium and is believed to be a real admirer of the wide man.

The two seem to get along very well with the Egyptian heaping praise on his former manager back in February, when he said: “He’s a big manager, one of the most experienced in England, and it was very, very disappointing when he left.”

Elmohamady’s representatives have added fuel to these rumours by telling Egyptian TV on Monday: “Elmohamady will leave Hull City to a club that is in England and not abroad.”
