Aston Villa, Leeds United and others pull out of EFL deal

Aston Villa and Leeds United are two of 11 Football League clubs who have declined to be involved with the EFL’s iFollow service deal.

iFollow is a streaming service that allows subscribers based outside of the UK and Ireland to watch up to 46 of their club’s league games live in HD at a cost £110 per season. Check out other IPTV subscription options here.

61 of the 72 Football League clubs agreed to be a part of the serve whilst Accrington Stanley, Birmingham City, Bristol City, Charlton Athletic, Derby County, Fulham, Newcastle United, QPR and Wolverhampton Wanderers all declined, meaning they can launch their own independent services, if they so wish.

It appears that Villa might be interested in launching their own unique service, but this is yet to be confirmed.
