Villans on international duty – Part two

Here is part two of an overview on how each player got on whilst out on international duty, with numerous players spending the international break with their respective countries.

Brad Guzan and Idrissa Gueye once again represented their countries, while Carlos Sanchez and Ciaran Clark were not involved in this week’s games for their nation. In Scotland’s narrow 1-0 win over Denmark, fellow Villans Alan Hutton and Jores Okore both sat out for their respective sides.

All of the players have now returned back to the Villa camp, as they set their sights on getting a result against Chelsea and halting Villa’s current loss streak of six games. It is also the first game of the post-Remi Garde era, with caretaker Eric Black in charge of the Villans against last season’s Premier League champions.
