Remi Garde facing selection crisis

After Jordan Ayew got himself sent off against West Ham in the weekday game, it has emerged that Libor Kozak has chipped a bone in his ankle, Garde has admitted while speaking to the press today.

It leaves Remi Garde with only ONE available natural striker, out of favour Gabby Agbonlahor.

Agbonlahor started against West Ham in the weekday game, but was ineffectual in the final third and was later subbed.

Summer signing Rudy Gestede could be available for selection soon, the Benin international pulled his hamstring a few weeks ago and has been recovering well.

Despite rumours of Agbonlahor leaving the club during the January transfer window, Remi Garde spoke positively of Agbonlahor’s performance, stating how positive he was going forward despite how hard of a job he had while the team played with 10 men.

He showed a good example of what I’m asking him to do as an experienced player.

It is understood that Garde will bring some of the players from the U21’s for the Norwich game.
