Adama Traore set for stint on the sidelines

It seems that after an immense display against Notts County last night, Adama Traore’s substitution from was forced due to injury.

Talking to the media after the game, Tim Sherwood had this to say on Traore’s injury: “The negative is that Adama got injured”

“It doesn’t look good to be honest. He took a heavy knock – it was a bad tackle”

Adama Traore has got off to life at Villa Park very well, forcing an own goal out of Crystal Palace on the weekend with a powerful darting run.

He followed up that in the 2nd Round of the Capital One Cup with a goal against Notts County thanks to great work by Jack Grealish.

Sherwood continued “The only way to stop him at the minute is to kick him. He’s a marked man. He will have to get used to it.”
